“The JJG story is about a dynamic, mission-minded, client-focused group of professionals whose work is as relevant today as ever. In the 50 years since JJG was founded, advances in technologies, increased government regulations and environmental initiatives have dramatically changed how communities develop and redevelop their infrastructures.”

“In 1958, when Bill Jordan and Charlie Jones first began the company, much of the infrastructure from the early 1900s was deteriorating or no longer able to handle capacity. In Atlanta, the capital of the ‘New South,’ there were no natural boundaries and plenty of prime real estate in every direction. The climate was warm, the people friendly and the politics becoming more progressive. The need for more and better land planning, water and wastewater systems and transportation solutions became a priority, and engineering firms with expertise in those areas enjoyed a wealth of business opportunities.”
